Photoshoot question

Was it Herb Ritts like 89 and Forever? It's obviously done in the same vein as those.

I can't find a single reputable site with a article that credits the photos to a person, it just says Photographer: Warner Bros

Yet it seems he's always credited whenever the 89 and Forever promos are used, the hits. I've never seen the Returns photographer credited either, other than that one "lucky delivery boy" LA times thing or whatever it was. Of course, I think that was before the movie opened.

Is this the same guy who has photographed some well known music personalites also? I swear I've seen his name in the sleeve notes of some albums I own.

If it is no wonder those shots of Keaton and Nicholson look excellent. Did he shoot all the colour variants too? There is a great photo of Nicholson which ended up on the front cover of the British Radio Times magazine one year.

Some years ago (2004?) on this very site there was a gallery of then recently found costume test photographs of Batman and The Joker but most of these shots seem to have now disappeared. Only a few pop up now and then in search engines. Are they still on here somewhere?

I'm a big fan of Herb Ritts' celebrity pictures but does anyone know why he didn't do a photoshoot for Batman Returns?  Did anyone do a similar photoshoot for that film?

Perhaps it had something to do with the high-level of security and secrecy surrounding that particular Batman film.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Definitely Herb Ritts. I think he did Batman & Robin too.

Yeah, the one with purple/hot pink background, but I've only seen one close shot of Michael and one of the Batmobile that was low-res. There had to be more than one photo taken of each. Wouldn't it be awesome if there were similar photos of Catwoman & Penguin? I love the Pedota ones, but there still should have been a regular style one. I find it hard to believe there were no clear photos taken of the actors in those Batman and Catwoman costumes somewhere.

While we're here, anyone know who did the Returns one? We need to track him/her down and hound him/her for more pics.
