For years, I thought he was saying, "This town needs an ENEMY!"

Ignorance is bliss, huh?

Don't worry... I once thought what Joker said to Bob in the mob meeting scene,  "And Bob.. remember...you're my number one... AND I..."   Which was really more like  "m'guy!" 

That's what I thought he said!

When I first saw the film, I thought an enema meant a group of enemies! 
BTW what does he say to Bob just before he asks him, '....phonebook'?

This is a lot like, "Never rub another man's rhubarb", in terms of ambiguity.
