A glance at Wiki shows the movie grossed $268.5 million. With a box office like that, shill trades want to soften the studio's public embarrassment. If they claim the cost was $220 million, it looks less humiliating.

Numbers are definitely reworked to reduce the shame. The Flash lost them a lot of money, and it's nowhere near the end. Blue Bomb lived up to its name with a $25 million opening. It needs to bank around $350-$450 million to make a profit...and for the life of me I can't see that happening. The launch of the DCU has been met with empty cinemas around the world, making it the fourth WB/DC flop in a row. Anything they make with Barbie gets shovelled into a fire pit to produce superhero movies that people simply don't care about.

Well, this is a first.

Pre-ordered the Steelbook, and received it in the mail today. I don't recall ever pre-ordering a movie, and getting it before the release date, as even if I do, it's always showing up in my mail 2-3 after release date. Regardless on if it's a release from a boutique label like Shout Factory/Kino/Arrow ect, or a more widely available release like this.

Definitely not going to argue with it of course, but this is very atypical in my experience. First time for everything.

Always a pleasant suprise! I ended up getting the Walmart exclusive and that should be here monday
