My second favorite after The Forgotten and here is a beloved episode that everyone remembers.

I watched this episode as i recalled with my mom and my bigger brother as we had a great time watching this episode and laughing at Croc's rock line with everyone looking all stoned.

Very enjoyable episode. My favourite moment is right after Killer Croc throws Joker across the room, the light swings away from Croc to reveal that he was actually Batman in disguise all along. A simple, yet creative, piece of animation there. It's great.

QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

Very high quality of animation with this episode. And the jazzy score is awesome too.

The episode kind of reminds me of that Where Were You The Night Batman Was Killed? storyline from like the 70's or something where a bunch of enemies hold a mock trial as different people claim to have killed Batman.

The stuff with Catwoman is fun too.

Just read the Golden Age story, "The Three Racketeers." It reminded me of this episode, and may have been an inspiration.

The story is told through flashbacks as three crooks recount how their criminal plots were foiled by Batman. Similar to Almost Got 'Im, these stories are told around a poker table, and it has a twist ending as well: they're all inside prison.

Great pickup there, Slash Man. Coincidence or not, there's definitely a strong similarity. I love this narrative technique of each character telling their own story, the episode P.O.V. where Montoya and Bullock recount their experiences while being grilled by internal affairs is another good example. Very appropriate for a noir setting.
