Nice to see that he loved the role enough to do an improvised reprisal, sans makeup...
That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

That was gross but hilarious. Sort of like his actual performance lol.

He's still got it.
He definitely has.  :)

I've got a lot of time for the stuff DeVito says.  Very smart guy.  :)

And Batman Returns is still a great movie, and arguably far more relevant to the world we're living in today than upcoming CBMs like Batman v Superman and Civil War.  :-X
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

He did the voice on Jonathan Ross' ITV chat show when he appeared a couple of weeks back. It was so marvelous I almost shed a tear lol

Ross is a comic nerd and so he couldn't resist asking him about the film. At the mention of Batman Returns and the sight of an old Penguin movie photo that flashed up on screen the TV audience whooped and applauded Devito their appreciation.

So you know that rubbish you often argue about with other Batman nerds online who say the Burton films are irrelevant, out of fashion relics of a forgotten past the public no longer enjoys? Well it's total bullsh*t my friends lol

How so? I'd be interested in your thoughts.

I can send you a private pm if you'd like but I don't want to cause any offence to anyone here by bringing up world events or anything related to politics so it's probably best that I keep things vague.

I don't want to flout any rules.  :)

No worries, that would be fine.

And indeed, DeVito's Penguin voice is magical. And it sounds exactly like it did in 1992.

I'm not sure if anyone watches It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but DeVito is on it and plays a hilarious character. It's a low budget show and he likely doesn't make a lot but he fits in with a bunch of no name actors (though Charley Day is getting semi-popular).

Devito is a very intelligent and likeable guy, he doesn't act like a celebrity jerk.
