While still pitching the idea of the animated series, this pilot was made, and depicts Batman's first night in Gotham:

There's some visual inconsistency; the animation here is a lot more smooth (Batman almost moves rubbery), and the design of Batman's first suit wasn't yet imagined, so he's seen here wearing the usual yellow oval design. Though I still consider it part of the series.
