The Joker is someone who would spend Christmas killing department store Santas in front of children. He gets his jollies from tearing down institutions, having fun at the expense of others. Nothing is sacred.

It's weird, I enjoyed this episode as a kid because I was a big fan of the BTAS versions of Robin and the Joker and they're well represented in this episode. Other than those characters, I could've taken or left CWTJ. But as I get older, the Christmas junkie in me just appreciates having another Christmas story starring Batman.

I can see that. There's a novelty to the episode for sure. Truth be told, I can't remember exactly when I started recording Batman TAS on the 'ol VCR. I know it wasn't right away, and may have been late as somewhere in 1993. I'm not even sure FOX was even available in my area in 1992, cause I do remember being ticked off I never could watch 'The Simpsons' back in '90/91 when the show was hugely popular in pop culture at that point.... 1994 was when Batman TAS converted into "The New Adventures of Batman & Robin" and I vivdly remember having to time record the VCR (and make sure there's a blank tape in the VCR) on late friday nights for those sat mornings airings.  ;D
