For Gotham Community college.... The Graduation cap on the books is in the real paper (from screen shots) so I figured it had somthing to do with higher education. Then I was reminded of all the Devry and such ads on TV lol

Still, it's disappointing to note that for a filmmaker like Burton who often pays so much attention to detail these newspaper articles are so full of bollocks that has nothing to do with the mock headline stories.

Tell me. I'm surprised there is some "real" info in them. Like the kids dissapearing and Penguins father being a D.A. These things I don't recall being mentioned in the movie.

I think this is more or less standard when it comes to movie newspaper props. I visited the London Film Museum back in 2010 and was able to photograph some of the newspaper props used in Superman II (1980). The copy had absolutely nothing to do with the headlines.

I was also able to photograph the police report detailing the Wayne murders from Batman Begins (2005). To their credit, the makers of that prop had actually gone to the effort of writing it out. But the report states that Bruce Wayne has blue eyes, whereas Nolan's Wayne actually has brown eyes. This is precisely the kind of petty detail I'll include if I ever start a goofs thread for Batman Begins.
