How would you connect batman forever and batman returns?

Yeah i just wanted to know how you guys could connect batman forever and returns like what happen in between that can transition well with each other and how harvey dent reappears in gotham again.Please give me your thoughts guys :)

A few from me:

- Max's power plant scheme gets off the ground one way or another and gives rise to the neon landscape.
- Selina is never seen by Bruce again after the Penguin lair confrontation. Although she does come out one last time the following Christmas...
- Bruce fills the void by stepping up at his company and thusly gains a bigger public profile.

There would be a lot of backstory regarding Harvey Dent and his prosecution of Moroni. And by "a lot" I mean more than a 15 second newsclip.
