The Batman Superman Animated film.

Just watched it and I thought it was fantastic. Very good script as well, as the characters had some very gripping dialogue and some great one-liners. I'm not usually a very big fan of the universe crossovers (nothing against them they just don't appeal to me) but this is now my favorite Batman Animated film. I really think this would be worth doing and extended live action version of.

Anyone else seen it and have any thoughts?

I always liked it.  I felt like the comics writers always missed the boat on certain interesting possibilities that can come with intermeshing Superman's world with Batman's (Luthor and Wayne corporate deals, a brief fling between Bruce and Lois, knockdown dragouts between Lex and the Joker vis a vis their lieutenants).  It was as if the WF crew picked my brain for all the stuff that I'd (consciously or subconsciously) ever wanted to see in a Batman/Superman crossover and threw it into the movie.

I was personally very satisfied with the World's Finest Batman/Superman animated movie upon first viewing it some years ago. Having been a fan of both the Batman animated series, and the Superman animated series, it was great to see these characters finally interact with one another .... as well as it was extremely entertaining to see the Joker and Harley interacting with Lex and Mercy.

The film also has some very memorable lines as well.

"Where's the Joker?"

"Who knows? Making ha-ha with Harley Quinn?"

;D
"Imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humour was provided to console him for what he is."

I've got the comic. It's pretty decent.

I think the basic plot and idea of the film could be made into a live action extended version.

Haven't seen it in a while but I remember enjoying it immensely.

A while back Wolfgang Petersen was going to do a Batman vs. Superman film. With all due respect to him, it's hard to imagine that his movie would've been better than this animated film.

Just watched this movie again via Youtube after a long while.

It's fantastic, gets a lot right. Very, very good representation of both characters.

Can't be objective about this (and Sub Zero) because of the time they came out (around the time of Batman & Robin I think). Many memories renting those films and me and friends agreeing that they are "much better than B & R". The good old days of Batman animated..

PUDDIN!

at this point he probably is.

lol
