Making Batman Forever a worthy sequel

Hey everyone,Today i'm gonna do a run down on a list on how to make batman forever better for us burton fans and hopefully wb will see this one day and will consider making a directors cut or a extended cut of the film (And if not i'll take in the consideration of doing it myself when i get a job ) cause we all know batman forever could have been or kinda dark like it's predecessors batman 1989 and batman returns but due to the backlash and reviews from batman returns the film was edited down to make the film lighter with alternate scenes added in for jokes and kicks for additional lighthearted moments or change of tone so without further ado let's begin and give your me thoughts and opinion on what you think of the list when your done reading it

1:The return of the 89 Batmobile
Okay in order to make the film better and bring more continuity it's gotta have the original batmobile from the first films and this can be easily done cause with the cgi rendering and digital removal technology we have today it shouldn't be too hard also since our generation is all about cgi these days i bet it's possible to make it happen.

2:Adding alternative scenes,deleted scenes,And reworking some parts
I believe this one speaks for itself but just for the heck of it add the original opening with two-face but rework it to make it a homage to batman returns where it shows the wb shield turning dark (minus morphing to the bat symbol of course)then fade into arkham asylum and after "the bat must die"writing on the wall continue the credits with  he exploration of the human brain as it was originally gonna be in with ether roman fonts like the first film had in their opening credits or the original batman forever lettering which i don't mind i like both so seeing ether would make me a happy camper after the credits,If possible add any alternative dialog or scene with two-faces monologue (i heard there were some lines cut during his talk with the security guard),Add a shot of the batmobile driving up to bank and play the entire batman vs two-faces thugs scene as it except rework it abit to make batman fight a litter faster and to intensify the fight,add the deleted scene where he headbutts the two two-face thugs together,Add the shot of batman stopping at the safe when he hears the guard,Rework the entire helicopter fight just abit,add shots of people looking up at the helicopter when two-face is talking,Add people running away after two-face talks about dumping the acid on gotham,Add when batman begins to open the safe move two-faces looking down at them part when batman opens the safe and add two-faces deleted line"If the bats wants to play we'll HA!" after batman closes safe move one scene from earlier in the film where two-face talks his pilot about hauling away the copter move to it's place then play rest of the scene as is,Add the deleted scene of batman fighting two-face in the copter but alter the stun double's voice ether have val come in and do the dub or tone his down voice to make it better,During the night scene with ngyma and stickly rework the scene alot after nygma knocks out stickly remove his "caffeine will kill ya"line instead just ether cut to black when stickly falls or just fade out to black and when stickly wakes up play the scene as it abit but when it comes to where nygma drains stickly's IQ cut the entire of scene him bragging and dancing about his invention and so on and just have him trying to turn off the power then play the scene as is but when it comes to killing stickly just have him digitally fall out the window when he get's close then have nygma talk about wayne's disapproval to his invention and turning the camera off,In the script there is a dream sequence of young bruce running in the rain after the death of his parents and meeting the giant bat but while the scene plays add flashes of thomas and martha being shot down and add jack's line"Tell me kid have you ever dance with the devil in the pale of the moonlight?"when showing jack napier also when bruce meets the giant bat have shots of the bat flying towards like in the original flashback but cut to black when the bat gets closed have young bruce scream,Add bruce waking up from the bad dream and cut to wayne manor then add the deleted scene with chase on the talk show talking about batman and the past villains then to the tv report talking about the origins of two-face and play the whole crime scene at wayne enterprises as it is along with nygma making his riddles but add a couple of shots from the se7en opening to extend him making the riddles abit,Add the deleted scene where bruce and dick are in the weight room right after the two-face and riddler team up when two-face flips his coin but add a shot of wayne manor after flip and in the beginning when bruce comes in watching dick punch the picture of two-face cut back to a black cat looking at him then back to bruce and have the scene play as it,Add the deleted scene where riddler beats down the security guard to death with his cane when he fails to punch him out,Add the deleted scene where batman ends up at the beauty salon but remove girls laughing at him instead show a shot of an abandon room with a riddler envelope on the wall but keep batman's expression while he looks at the room also add cop cars when batman drives to the abandon building as well,When dick says"You can't understand...your family wasn't kill by a maniac!"Keep the shot of bruce looking at dick with joker's laugh echoing as if it were in his head then continue the scene as is,During the scene where two-face crashes the party remove the part where bruce slides down ladder to get suited up along with dick suiting up scene as wel and just have the party being raided like so then play the scene as is but remove the kiss with chase and just have him run to two-face,Add the deleted scene where bruce thinks about quitting and remove "I never been in love before and go to her"lines,After bruce gets knocked out have the screen black for a few seconds or mins and show flashbacks from batman 1989 and returns but backwards along with Memorable quotes echoing and scenes to where bruces parents get shot and him kneeling down next to them and when bruce wakes up cut to claw island after alfred's last "Master bruce? line" just show he only remembers his life as bruce wayne,Add the secret of the batcave deleted scene and play it out as it is but remove the giant bat and sorta do a cgi one or the flashback one where bruce meets him as a kid ether way it'll work,During the claw island assault add the scenes of batman returning along with robin in the batplane and boat and while heading there add shots from batman 1989 if possible where batman activates his guns and rockets and when robin get's hit by the bomb underwater have the shots batmans gloves hitting triggers and buttons and of the rockets shooting and show a shot of the BOX being shot by rockets but showing no effect whatsoever along with batman as well (gotta destroy it from the inside)then play the entire scene as it is,During the island rising when robin is climbing up to what's going on have two-face come out from behind the rocks and have a shot of batman turning looking at two-face and let robin fight two-face for a couple seconds while doing so have batman shout "Robin wait" then continue the fight again while batman tries to find away to get up there and afterwards when batman finds a door continue the fight with two-face and play out as it is,After saving both chase and robin play the scene out as it with two-face but instead of killing him how bout he just flips the coin after he and batman's talk and when he catches it comes out tails with batman looking up then we cut to batman confronting the riddler (we just indicate two-face let them live)and during the arkham scene have riddler's "batman" line echoing when chase and dr.burton walk to his cell and chase comes to his cell play the scene as it is but rework abit like so "Edward doctor burton tells me you know who batman is"..."i can't tell you"..."Edward"..."Edward please who is batman?"then play it out as is,Add does it ever deleted scene after bruces and chases kiss and after the scene add a new scene of the camera panning up to batman and robin looking down at gotham with the bat signal in the sky.

3:Deleting or timing down some certain scenes
Trim down tommy lee jones laughs,cackles,and jokes whenever possible in certain shots i mean keep some that are funny and not forced,Digitally remove the batnipples if possible,Delete the whole secret tunnel to the batcave after the nygma meeting and just cut to wayne manor with batman suiting up,Delete the wrecking ball destroying the wall in the bank and just have the scene elevator scene instead,Delete any cartoony sound effects anywhere in the film replace it with a new sound effect,Delete the entire first meeting with chase during the two-face bank heist including the rooftop but keep the part when the safe is dropped back into the bank with gordons team and chase arriving as if chase just arrived and make us wonder who she is and make the first meeting when bruce goes to see her for help with the riddles plus keep the part where bruce finds the picture of batman during their date or meeting just to show she has a thing for him and make the balcony kiss scene their first cause it makes it a better love story and makes chase look less of a horny schoolgirl ,Delete alot of the jim carrey moments and jokes from the riddle and nygma scenes I.E spank me,joygasm and over the top moments just to make him a little darker,Delete the entire dick driving the batmobile as if it were a hotrod car along with him talking to the RMB girls and just have him drive to up the alley to fight the neon gang,Delete two-face blowing a kiss to batman as he jumps into the underground tunnel,Move two-face's"Yes yes yes yes yes oh happy day hahaha"line where he thinks he killed batman underground but as he laughs keep a certain shot of him looking at the flames 2 times one where stops laughing and looking the fire and again after batman comes out of the flames.Delete or at least trim the scene at claw island where two-face cries about batman surviving and so on.Trim down the moment where bruce gets knocked out when shot at from two-face and as two-face walks to bruce have a shot of chase being caught by his thugs then have him look down at bruce laughing ready to shoot and then to end it have riddler's "NO!!!Don't kill him...If you kill him he won't learn nothing"line and have them run out with chase afterwards like in the original scene.Delete the bat-ass scene,Delete "Who's your tailor?" line,Delete the scene where gordon is cheering when batman returns,Delete the scenes with riddler and two-face playing battleship to stop batman and robin,Delete riddler's "AHHHHH...I got him!" along with "Was i over the top?I can never tell"

4:New visuals effects and gotham
Now unlike most people i like the neon gotham abit no too much just abit and with some slight tweaking and coloring i think the new gotham should resemble the one from the onstar commercials combing both schumacher's and burton's gotham into one giving us a happy balance.

5:Reworked musical score
Okay this is a tough one cause i like both elfman's and goldenthals work but one of them needs to be in the film or reworked to make film better...for continuity sake have elfman come back and let him construct a new score for batman forever if possible but if people want goldenthals themes more have goldenthal come back as well to do some rescoring cause some his themes change the mood and tone of the film also let him takes some notes from elfman and let him rework them in his own way much like how christopher young took over for elfman in spider-man 3 by doing what elfman would do in certain scenes but with his own touch.

The amount of work you're talking about would be better off invested in a brand new film rather than patching up something that, let's face it, mostly only core fans would be interested in. For example, the "minor tweak" to Gotham you're talking about would definitely create better continuity between B89 and BR and BF... but it would cost at least a couple of million dollars to do and would amount to a full scale reinvention.

The other thing is that your post assumes that all of those things by definition are flawed in some way by virtue of being what they are. True, the movie arguably might have benefited from a longer running time but the score, the effects, the performances, etc, these are all part of Schumacher's vision of what Batman Forever needed to be. There may be parts we don't care for but at the end of the day he was paid to create his version of Batman. I don't think it would be appropriate for someone to come along later and tamper with that, irrespective of their motives. For better or worse, the ship's sailed on this continuity and iteration of the franchise. I'm just happy to have the special edition DVD set from 2005.

Well i wound't say it would be better off invested in a brand new film rather than patching up cause if i really wanted to make a brand new film i would have suggested to get the original cast like michael keaton,rene russo,billy dee williams,robin williams,and marlon wayans and digital put them in batman forever  and have them reenact the entire film cause that would have been waaay to far but what i'm doing is just keeping the original vision of batman forever with it's actors and visuals and fixing any errors that don't make since while making the actors performances better as much as possible while making both fans of schumacher and burton fans happy and i mostly get my sources to make the film better by going what was in the actual script while taking some notes from the comic book adaptation and novelization which shows how the film could have been better if they had these certain scenes in but anyways i'm still staying true to schumahcer's version of batman forever and it's story i'm just putting some creative thinking to make it darker and make it connect better with the burton films i mean after it's sequel after much like how bryan singer did his superman film as sequel and homage to reeve's superman while doing something new along the way.
