After Bruce figures out that the Joker killed his parents, they should have had him give one of those 'Keaton is obviously disturbed and troubled' looks behind him at the Batsuit and shown him pondering and whatnot. That scene is just so brilliant I wish it could have been a little extended before Vale waltzes up the bat-steps.
