Which Elfman Batman Soundtrack do you prefer?

Batman (1989)
Batman Returns
Indeed. Attack of the Batwing, Up the Cathedral, Charge of the Batmobile, Childhood Remembered - all definitive Batman music.

I cant decide, because I love them both equally! ;D

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Yep, both are fantastic. The best Bat music ever. I wonder what Elfman would of come up with if a third was made...

That right there, is an interesting thought my friend!

All in all, depends on my mood.  BR does it for me when I'm feeling down while certain tracks of B89 make some pretty awesome driving music when I'm behind the wheel (come on, you know you want to listen to Descent Into Mystery while driving down a dark road that cuts through a forest at night...).

I'm currently taking a film music class at school and for my term paper, I decided on writing about Elfman's B89 score.  I am to analyze every cue in the film (!!!).  This should be fun..
That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

B89 but I love them both equally. Truly a masterpiece.

Cool! Will you post your paper on the boards? I'd love to read it.  :)

I'd love to read that when you're done.

Thanks everyone.  I should have it up by Christmas at the latest since my semester will be over then.

I think the first score was darker, but loved both really. The score from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are very different but good too.

I love those scores just as much as I do the Elfman scores, I even like the BF score too, and bring on the bashing I could care less lol!
