Is Beautiful Dreamer, as it is played on the Joker's boom-box at Vicki's apartment, on the new CD's?

Is Max Shreck essentially Rupert Thorne?

When I first saw Returns at theaters, I was disappointed at the ending. It wasn't a long and tough fight like the first one. When I went back to see it again, I liked it a lot better because I then understood that it was a different film.

Maybe some people like myself (at the time) were expecting a long, action-packed climax like B89.

There's no doubt that Ledger's Joker was insane but he wasn't IMHO criminally insane like the Joker should be.

I also don't like TKJ origin. There's plenty of Batman villains who have the innocent victim background. I love how Jack Napier in B89 was just rotten to begin with. Alex Ross said it best: "It's a more credible origin than previous ones".

I remember when it came out, my father rented it and we took it to our neighbor's house to make copies. However, they recorded it on SP mode which is exactly two hours. For the six years that I watched that tape, it ended when Knox says "Hey Vale, aren't you covering this..." (STOP, REWIND) >:(

Quote from: phantom stranger on Fri, 13 Nov  2009, 21:27In Mask of the Phantasm, Shirley Walker just had the choir chant the names of WB executives backwards. Perhaps she and Elfman did something similar for Batman?

They probably did then. Cool!

Does anyone know what the choir at the beginning of "Descent into Mystery" is saying? Also, what are they singing in? Latin? Italian?

I remember a few months before the movie came out, Extra! had a rough two minute sneak preview of the movie. When I saw it, I thought it was horrible for obvious reasons, let alone that I was pissed that Tim Burton wasn't involved.

But when I saw the movie, I was surprised because it was able to do (for me) what Burton's two were capable of doing and that is to make you feel like you're in another world for two hours. That's one of the redeeming qualities IMO in this movie.
