Batman & Robin does the "Bright Knight" version badly just like Batman 1989 does the "Dark Knight" badly!

Nope. B&R wasn't trying to be the 60s series. It was just trying to be humorous. Camp and humor are two different things.

And what's wrong with B89 now?

Nothing is wrong with B89. Just meant that it was the first time a Batman movie was attempted at being dark and compared to Nolans dark knight trilogy it isn't as good in my opinion. And I agree B&R wasn't trying to be the 60s series but in terms of trying to be a more family friendly version of batman like the 60s version is, it's no where near as good.

The video made the comparison by keep putting 60s dialogue or soundtrack over parts so just carried on with the supposed comparison!

Frank FTW! He got the Emmy nomination and HE DESERVED IT. That giggle...

I just wished he won it!! He deserved it!

Literally apart from the "Robins Reckoning" episodes, they should have just left Robin out of it. He just pops up in random different episodes bringing literally no value to the episode.

About five times. I only watch it if I catch it on TV on lazy days. I have the DVD as part of my Batman boxset but never actually popped it on!

1. Batman 1966 - Timeless classic, pure and simple! I know the majority are into the dark side of Batman now but at least the classic 60's version didn't have the Joker killing Bruce Wayne's parents or Barbara GORDON being related to Alfred PENNYWORTH. Just saying!
2. The Dark Knight - Thrilling action from start to finish, Heath Ledger's Joker (need to say no more)
3. Batman Begins - was true to the comic story, a fantastic true comic book movie
4. Batman Returns - Fantastic portrayals of both Catwoman and Penguin, great showing both characters back stories, wish they spent more time on it though!
5. Dark Knight Rises - Anne as Catwoman was not amazing. In Batman's first fight with Bane he smacks punches in his face several times and nothing happens but yet at the end he smacks his face maybe twice and his masks pops off? Makes no sense! And killing him off with a missle didnt do the ending justice, expected an epic battle.
6. Batman 1989 - Centered around the Joker too much. Joe Chill murdering Bruce Waynes parents is a thundamental part of Batman, without this happening Batman wouldnt even exist so altering it by having the Joker murder them is just ridiculous IMO. But great batmobile!
7. Batman Forever - Jim Carry as Riddler didnt do it for me. This film is hit and miss really, can watch it if im in the mood.
8. Batman and Robin - Thank-You Joel for almost runining the Batman franchise! Batgirl related to Alfred is a no no. And the portrayal of Ivy didnt do the character any justice. Clooney as Batman? No thanks!

John Astin had a tricky act to follow! I think most people will agree to this date Frank Gorshin is the best Riddler. So I do feel sympathy for Astin as being 'the guy after' is always going to be an impossible job. I did enjoy the storyline for this episode  (minus the bat-fight under water lol). Astin as the Riddler did just about do the job for me, if he had alot more charasima he would have been brilliant! Appearance wise, the moustache let him down I thought!

Movie/TV Series (1966 - 1968) / Re: molly

Hey! This is actually my first post on this forum, so hello all! ha!

Yes Molly was in the first/pilot episode of Batman, played by Jill St.John who appeared as the Bond girl in "Diamonds Are Forever".

She was the girl that danced the "batusi" with Batman in the infamous scene, she did die in the batcave, disguised as Robin. There is a picture of her on my website - http://www.bat-mania.co.uk/guides/henchwomen_molls_season1.php
