Comic Film & TV / Spawn the animated series

Excellent, dark and unique animated adaptation of Todd Mcfarlane's 90s hit comic is also from the same producers of Batman TAS and Gargoyles with a few of the same designers, i loved this since i was 15 when it first aired on HBO and been a fan of the comics since issue 1. Keith David, Richard Dystart and many more were on this show and i like how Madhouse animation was involved with the style.

Patrick and i both have good taste in soundtracks and we both have a unique collection of soundtracks.

Say Bob you said Selina looks good as a blonde than a brunette? i dunno, both are hot as hell even as a brunette on the later seasons of TAS and Gotham Adventures.  So you didn't think Hathaway was attractive? some guys like me and Patrick did. Hell even him and i also dug Ivy, Harley, Batgirl, Talia and Zantanna.

Who agrees Catwoman/Selina Kyle is hot no matter how she looks like and that video was a nice tribute to her? i mean you have to admit she's hot as either a blonde/brunette on TAS, comic versions minus the ugly sinead o'Conner lookalike in Year One, Julie/Lee/Michelle, Brave and The Bold, The Batman, Arkham City. Hell, even the Tyger Tyger version (remember that episode?) was stiffie-vision well in a way like Cleo from Heathcliff, Cheetara, Felicia, Firstmate Jenny or whatever hot cartoon cat chick there, LOL ;). Now Hathaway just joined with the rank of all those versions of Catwoman. Even Patrick and i agree that she's hot no matter how she looks.

Well it wasn't so much her "attractiveness" that let her portrayl down lol It was more her character for me. I found Catwoman far more sexier when she's a mousey, put upon lowly secretary who becomes the ultimate female sex machine. She's threatened by that Penguin goon with the electro-shock device and you can't believe this is the same woman who becomes Catwoman, the embodiment of female toughness, confidence and sexuality (with the sexiest sounding voice in movies in my opinion). In short I guess it's the whole "powerful woman" thing lol Only in Batman Returns we actually witness how she becomes that unlike in Rises. Her sense of humour I believe was far better also. I just think Pfeiffer had a more edgy, memorable character. As for her hair being blonde I think it looks great simply because it stands out against her black costume. It's more interesting that simply going with brown.

Do you dig Ivy and Harley as well?

Yes the score is very memorable in this episode no doubt.

Who else liked how the ending was quite funny when you thought it would blow up but turned out to be a dud.

Hmm, your right, your possibly right.

Oh yes i forgot to mention this episode also reminds me of the 1957 low budget sci-fi mad scientists with freaks and John Carradine film that was shown on MST3K aka Mystery Science Theater 3000 called "The Unearthly", anyone seen that movie or the MST3K episode plus those movies i mentioned even Freaked with Alex Winter and Randy Quaid?

I'd love to see Randy Quaid's mad scientist redneck character Elijah C. Skuggs take on Dorain with Gene Splicer from Tiny Toons in a mutant making contest, i'm sure Skuggs would win as he's got Zygot-24 which is even more powerful than T99 as it can mutate anyone into any freak with the help of a computer then out of an ice-cream machine then apply the goo on someone then wallah instant freak of any kind from the computer request.

Anyone remember those hot sexy cartoon felines i mentioned especially Cleo on Heathcliff (Riff-Raff's girlfriend with the legs and legwarmers), Cheetara and Kit Mambo (the lioness)?

I agree with you but this is my fave Penguin episode.

Did you think Bruce looked spooky with bluish eyes? yet somehow in New Adventures how did his brown eyes turn blue?

Say Slash-Man, i agree with everything you said.

Since your a horror fan, do you agree that Boss Biggus looks and reminds you of B-movie actor Pat Ryan Jr. and ever seen Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke Em High and Street Trash? if you see those movies, you'll see how the character reminds the viewers of that actor and his villain character in TA.
