Continuing the celebration of all things 89...
...coming soon will be a lengthy (and indepth) interview I just finished with Dave Lea - Michael Keaton's fight/stunt double in Batman.
SWEET!
That just reeks of AWESOMENESS RAL!
Excellent, this should be good.
Right on Ral! Thank you!! :)

I always get an Arkham vibe here ;D
ral, that's amazing, how are you able to get a hold of Dave Lea? I'm new here, so I don't know much about the regulars or the founders of the site. Are you some sort of freelance journalist for batman topics, or just a really awesome fan, or just a journalist? It's really sweet that you are able to do this. Ask him for a Batman 89 costume for me.

I'm not sure if he has one - but if you were willing to pay for it, I'm sure he would sell it to you ;)
nah, I'm just kidding man, or am I? No, I'm pretty sure I'm kidding, the dvd is enough for me, I could watch it over and over, besides I think it'd be very pricy for a suit.

I re-visit this quote a month later.
that's a fair criticism :)
shouldn't be much longer, i promise
A fair criticism indeed.
Now, I can be theatrical, and maybe even a little rough - but one thing I am not, is a killer. I'm not going to kill you. I want you to do me a favor. Get that story up pronto.
lol... I love you guys. ;D
This website.... Always bring a smile to my face... ;)

Absolutely fantastic interview Ral. I now see why it took so long to transcribe. I didn't think it was going to be worth the monumental wait beforehand, but more fool me. It was a brilliant read.
What an excellent gig the Batman films must have been for Dave Lea too. From Eastenders to working with Tim Burton on two of the best blockbusters of the late 20th century. What a leap!
Top stuff! Thanks for the early Christmas present Ral.
read a little of it. read the rest soon.
A worthy addition to this site. Very thorough. Well done and well worth the wait. Dave Lea is a Burton Batman legend.
Just want to say well done to Ral for getting the Dave Lea interview!! Very interesting and enjoyable.
Thanks mate. ;D
WOW! Awesome interview, keep it up Ral! I bet one day you might even get Jack and Michael in the interview chair, now that would be awesome!
Incredible interview!!!!! ;D
I loved it. Dave rocks!
Thank you Ral! Merry Christmas!
great interview!!!, you really should get Micheal Keaton for an interview, merry christmas

We'd love to, but that's going to be difficult to say the least.
Who would everyone else like to see interviewed?
So you did it, you finally did it! ;D

I also got to drive the original Batmobile from the TV show on the set of Returns.
I'd love to see footage of this, if it existed. LOL. ;D

Very interesting and very lively interview, yeah more like a chat than a dull formal interview one sees in some magazines.
We expect even more excellent stuff like this Ral :)
