Title: Petition For A Complete Animated Series Box Set
Post by: BatmanForever on Tue, 14 Jul 2009, 16:30
Hey Batfans,

I am starting this petition to persuade Warner Home release a complete collection of all the episodes of Batman:TAS, The Adventures Of Batman And Robin and The New Batman Adventures, along with the feature lengths Mask Of The Phantasm and SubZero, seen as only TAS has received DVD treatment, in a very little way

Sign It, so we can see this amazing series be seen on DVD in complete form

Perhaps I got the wrong idea, but don't they have an animated series box set that includes the seasons and  the MOTP, Sub-Zero, and Batman and Superman?

Yes, the complete Batman: The Animated Series is available on DVD.

It doesn't include any of the feature-length animated movies, though.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm never received a Special Edition DVD, unfortunately. By now I'm thinking they should focus on the new format.

Actually, what we really need is WB to digitally clean up the original source material and release everything in High-Def on Blu-Ray. 8)

Problem is, though, that I've heard rumors that stated part of the original Batman: The Animated Series film stock is beyond repairable. Not sure where I read it, but it sounded legit.  :-[

You know, I've yet to see an animated film in blu-ray format. I'm curious as to how much better the picture quality would be.

The best Blu-ray image quality possible is actually from a Disney animated feature. It's jaw droppingly good.
