Title: Favourite shot in each Burton film
Post by: The Laughing Fish on Fri, 14 Dec 2018, 22:32
For me, these are my favourite shot in each Burton Batman film: how he looks above the Axis Chemicals factory and leaves following the Jack Napier incident, and how the Batsignal calls directly at him in Wayne Manor.

What are your favourite shots? Can be anything from a symbolic or technical perspective.

The atmosphere practically leaks off these two. Love them so much.

I'll have to look around to get more concrete examples, but I'm going to focus on this shot for now.

Bruce reading the paper and having a coffee like an average guy, but in the setting of a black walled room in a cave. He's far from a normal guy, which is what I love about this contrast. We get to see some of his equipment too, with the microscope.
