Title: Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018)
Post by: Silver Nemesis on Sat, 13 Jan 2018, 19:43
For any Suicide Squad fans out there, a new animated film is scheduled for release this coming spring. Christian Slater heads the voice cast, which also includes C. Thomas Howell reprising his role as Professor Zoom from Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013).

I saw this over the holidays. It rivals Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox as the most violent DC animated movie to date, and yes, Eobard Thawne's return from death makes both movies connected. C. Thomas Howell was the best thing about Flashpoint, and he excels here once again.

The only character who made the only impression on me was Bronze Tiger, with his tragic backstory and how he ended up as a member of Task Force X and, without trying to give too much away, he does get a fitting conclusion.

If you can stomach the gore, watch it. But like most DC animated movies nowadays, you won't have the urge to watch it again.
