Title: Remastered Returns Trailer?
Post by: eledoremassis02 on Thu, 18 Feb 2016, 22:42
I bought this trailer on ebay and might try to do a HD scan of it. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing it?

It would look somthing like this

Nice! I don't think I've ever seen that before.  :)

Never saw that before; there are a few unused lines and different angles etc. Very nice!

I think I saw that trailer on TV. If I recall, that was the first footage from BR I ever saw. It stands out because of the lack of narration.

Also interesting is how different takes are used in some sections. Bruce says "I had a big business deal come up" whereas in the movie the line is "come through." I'm also pretty sure Selina's line about feeding her cat is from a different take too.

It could just be nostalgia or familiarity but I think Burton made the right choices with the takes he used in the movie. I can't imagine those lines being delivered any other way.

Remastering the trailer? Sounds fun! I'd be up for it but I don't really have any technical knowledge to impart. You might be able to find tips (or even helpers) if you cruise sites like originaltrilogy.com where fan-remastering jobs are a big deal. You'll find a lot of experts (maybe even pros) there.
