This title SO deserves it's own thread. ;D
We can talk about specific stories and stuff later but first I need to gush over the whole thing
I freaking love Selina in this. She reminds me of, well, me to be honest. lol. The "oh craps" and "damns" and "Yeah I didn't think this through" and stuff, totally my attitude. She wants to be such a badass (and basically is) but she keeps having these "Come back to earth, honey" moments. I read that its supposed to be her in her early days so I guess that makes sense that she isn't totally self-assured with every move she makes, win, lose, or draw.
The supporting characters are fun too. I am in LOVE with Alice Telsa. OMG she is freaking adorable. I so need someone like that in my life. If they kill her off I swear....well I better not say anything so I won't be implicated. *whistles innocently*
The relationship between Batsy and Selina is wonderful. Their, ahem, escapades at the end of issue 1 and start of issue 2 were amazing. The page of her lying on him when they were done was just...wow. I can't even put it in words. And their kisses and stuff. I love this. And then when she is comforting him when he loses his mind and is talking about the paintings and begging her to "put them back" but I'm guessing (I never got that far with his story) that it's more about something the Joker has done with the "Bat family" based off what they say and the image of them all in distress. It's so sweet. He needs her just as much as she needs him. Love it.
I'm bored with the line of Selina running the crime family. Her character is no where near what she was before this line started. I hope it doesn't last much longer. It's mind numbingly dull. It should have been a different title all its own or something, Batman has like 15, they could have done a separate one for this and kept her doing her thang that we all love.

As a Cat fan and bisexual woman this reeks to me of her trying to spice up what she realizes is her boring as hell version of Selina. It's insulting, to be honest.
So, I see the Catsuit has a slight resemblance to Michelle Pfeiffer's costume nowadays. Cool.

That cover looks like it belongs in the late 80s or early 90s too. Very retro.
