Recently, Kevin Smith stated that, after hosting this weekend Q&A on Man of Steel, Zack Snyder showed him a cell phone of Ben Affleck in the new Batsuit:
"You have not seen this costume in a movie on film before. And for a comic book fan, it was mind-bending. Only [Zack Snyder] has enough power to pull this off."

He apparently said that it was "Jim Lee-influenced" (while this is bleeped in the recording, people who attended the recording have reported that he said Jim Lee). I'm curious if he meant Hush-era Jim Lee or New 52 Jim Lee. The Hush look is more of the traditional comic book suit whereas the New 52 one, with its darker colors and lines to indicate armor, is a bit more in line with how the Batsuits have been designed in the movies.
Still, it does hold out hope that we'll get something that looks more like the comic book Batman this time around.
i hope it looks like the comic/animated series costume. its about damn time they made a movie with that costume. i guess no one wanted to wear the one with the undies on the outside so whoop whoop to ben lol.
I just want them to bring back the yellow chest oval insignia. Somehow though I don't think I'll get my wish.
I'm sure the new costume will be great but nothing shall beat the original Michael Keaton suit for me. Low tech feel made it timeless for some reason. And oh look, it had a yellow chest symbol too! So it always stands out. Love it's black/yellow/gold colour scheme that fitted both the movie poster and yellowish end credits.
Snyder revealed some concept art last week, and it portrays Batman in his classic grey and blue costume with white eyes.

It has long ears! ;D
Yes long sharp ears! Keep em like this.
When will filmmakers realise the ears don't look silly. When their longer Batman looks much more frightening for some reason and of course it's fantastic for sillouettes and over the shoulder shots.
How much do I despise the Bale mask ears? Jesus! They bugged me for eight long years.
Well, a Jim Lee inspired Batman would have very short ears...

As much as I'd love this to be official concept art, I believe Snyder said that these were works that he commissioned to be auctioned off for charity, with the prompt being "Batman vs. Superman."

Typical of IGN not to mention that when they posted these. ::)
Not going to lie, this line of speculation does generate some excitement for me. :)

This is what I found most surprising about these arts. It says Jim Lee, and the ears were Kelley Jones.
The Kelley Jones Batman must have 12ft high archways in the Batcave to be able to manoeuvre with those ears. But on the flip side, he must get excellent reception from the antennae.

...but entering low corridors or vents in the Arkham games would be impossible!
That's a point. Maybe he could have retractable ears that sink into his cowl when he's crawling through vents. Then when he needs to frighten someone – snikt! – they pop back up again.
This sounds more like Dark Claw, lol.
