Title: Batman Returns: A Christmas Eve Tradition
Post by: THE BAT-MAN on Sun, 25 Dec 2011, 00:12
Every year, on Christmas Eve at precisely 10:00 p.m. I sit back and watch Batman Returns.  By the time the clock strikes midnight.  Alfred will have said, "Well come what may, Merry Christmas, Mr. Wayne." and Bruce would have replied, "Merry Christmas Alfred.... Good will toward Men.... and Women."

I tell you the experience of watching this movie at those precise hours on christmas eve, is like feeling your part of the movie itself.

For me it has to be Die Hard on Christmas Eve night ;) (And Fight Club on Christmas morning)

Although I do make it my mission to watch Returns in the morning/afternoon, such a damned good film, man it really is just to good.

I always watch BR around Christmas time too, it has such a great wintery and fairy tale vibe

I try to watch it every year before Christmas (but typically I forget)!  I did watch it last night though.  I also watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and National Lampoons to try and cement the festive feeling.   ;)
