Title: Burton and Keaton to Reunite
Post by: Gotham Knight on Sat, 21 May 2011, 17:03
I don't know if this has come up yet, but, finally after years apart, Michael Keaton and Tim Burton will again bring us a collaboration in the form of Tim Burton's Auto-Remake, Frankenweenie. What's interesting here is that, in fact, the principle cast (with the exception of Alec Baldwin and Genna Davis) of Beetlejuice is going to be in this, including the late Glenn Shadix. The Deetz' are represented, for God's sake! I'm fairly excited

I was excited when I read this on Wikipedia too, but I am not so quick to believe it. There no references on the Michael Keaton and Frankenweenie (2012 film) pages that link to any press releases mentioning Michael Keaton. And I cannot find anything about his involvement elsewhere besides blogs that are using IMDb and Wikipedia as references.
