Michael Keaton has such a great voice. Could listen to it for hours.
He sounds like a man who would dress up in a batsuit and clobber criminals.
True, he reads alot into the character, without blarring everything he's about on the screen, it's credit to him and the writers as well.
I can't really explain it. He just sounds really mysterious. And scatterbrained - not criticizing Michael at all there. It lends itself to a really deep loner, and also aspects of madness. I love how he uses silence between words. It shows his mental state. He almost struggles to express himself in a coherent way. He 'feels' things more.
I remember him saying in an interview about all the controversy concerning his casting that it surprised him because he thought he could do it, he thought he could get the desired performance.
